Kevin O’Connell

Kevin O’Connell is the head coach of the NFL Minnesota Vikings. In his first season as head coach in 2022, O’Connell led the Vikings to 13 wins, the most by any first-year head coach in franchise history, earning the club’s first division title since 2017.

From 2015 to 2022, O’Connell served on the coaching staffs of the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Commanders and Los Angeles Rams. In college, he played for San Diego State, and in the NFL he played for the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers and New York Jets.

Kevin and his wife, Leah, have two sons, Kaden and Kolten, and two daughters, Quinn and Callie.
